Name: Keller Williams Realty RED DAY - Volunteering to support Maryland Coastal Bays Foundation
Date: May 12, 2016
Time: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM EDT
Event Description:
WHAT IS RED DAY?
RED Day (Renew, Energize and Donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving our local communities. Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates from across the United States and Canada participate in a wide range of projects, devoting their time to renewing and energizing aspects of the neighborhoods in which they serve. We welcome friends, families and the community to participate!
RENEW - ENERGIZE - DONATE
Our Keller Williams Realty Salisbury and Ocean City locations will be donating our time to The Maryland Coastal Bays Foundation! This foundation exists to protect and conserve the waters and surrounding watershed of Maryland’s coastal bays to enhance their ecological values and sustainable use for both present and future generations. Part of the National Estuary Program, the Maryland Coastal Bays
Program is a non-profit partnership between the towns of Ocean City and Berlin, the National Park Service, Worcester County, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Maryland Departments of Natural Resources, Agriculture and Planning.

The town of Ocean City could use a good bayside trash clean up from 60th Street down to 40th Street, Bayside. The town will provide bags and gloves and MCBP will be happy to lend your group trash “grabbers”. These areas include a lot of marsh areas that trap a lot of trash so folks may want to consider wearing tall boots, long sleeve shirts and pants as it will be tick season. For those who do not want to enter the marshes, sadly there is plenty of trash to pick up in front of the marsh and down the side streets.
