The sun becomes the moon. A drunk becomes a lord. A servant becomes a master. And two headstrong lovers become perfect companions as Delaware Shakespeare Festival returns to The Freeman Stage at Bayside to perform Shakespeare?s raucous comedy, The Taming of the Shrew. A mischievous nobleman has a play performed for a drunk who has been fooled into believing he is a nobleman himself. The play tells the unlikely love story of the strong-willed, tempestuous Katherina and the roughly-matched Petruchio. Their wooing sets into action a string of events that turns the world upside down and explores the swirling possibilities of change.
