It's the perfect way to expand your network, connect with fellow Chamber members, and introduce your business to new faces—all while enjoying great food (and maybe a new favorite lunch spot!)

Speaker: Duncan Ely, General Manager of Ripley's Believe It or Not!, which means he spends his days surrounded by shrunken heads, two-headed animals, optical illusions, and, most unbelievable of all, summer crowds on the Boardwalk. Duncan leads a talented team dedicated to giving guests the classic Ripley's experience: a little curiosity, a little mystery, and a whole lot of "Wait...is that real?

Before running one of Ocean City's most famously unusual attractions, Duncan worked as a cashier for Ripley's, going through the ranks and learning hospitality & tourism, how to manage teams, streamline operations, and stay calm while explaining, for the 500th time, that yes, the exhibits are real. Traveling with the company and excelling in their Leadership Programs, Duncan won the Ripley's Team Award in 2025, alongside Brandon and Audra Ely (his parents). This award is given to the team for exemplary performance throughout the year. Under Duncan's leadership, Ripley's Ocean City has expanded its engagement with the community through the Incredible Kid Program, supported local events, and continued to offer family-friendly fun - plus a safe place for anyone who's ever wondered, "What could possibly the world's tallest man look like?"
