Salisbury University Student United Way Spring Virtual 5K

SU Student United Way presents: Spring Virtual 5K!
Run on your own time April 15th-April 18th!
Put on your best racing shoes and run, walk, sprint or jog anytime from Thursday April 15th 12:00 a.m. to Sunday April 18th at 11:59 p.m. You pick your route and choose when you do it. The whole family can participate! 100% of proceeds benefit United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore!
Join the event on SUSUW FB (@SUunitedway OR Salisbury University Student United Way) and when you are done with your 3.1 miles, take a picture of your route WITH YOUR TIME and post on the SUSUW Event FB page, or via direct message on FB or Insta (@salisburysuw) or to the SUSUW email address (sustudentunitedway@gmail.com). Have FUN and sprint into spring with this virtual family event. A 50/50 raffle will take place from 4/15-4/17 and a scavenger hunt on the SU campus will take place on Saturday, April 18th from 12-4pm. Find our selfie spots and take a picture! Scavenger hunt is open to all, even those not participating in 5K.
The first 25 people to register will get a FREE LIVE UNITED T-shirt! We will let you know if you are one of the first 25. There will be medals and prizes in the following categories. You MUST take a picture of your ROUTE MAP AND TIME along with one of yourself (if you are doing costume/scenic/creative) in order to qualify for a prize. The prize/medal categories are:
- Most Scenic Route
- Most Creative Route (are you zigging or zagging?)
- Scavenger hunt winner
- Best time for 5K runners:
- Adult age 19-35
- Male and Female
- Adult age 36-49
- Male and Female
- Adult age 50+
- Male and Female
- Child 16-18
- Male and Female
- Child 11-15
- Male and Female
- Child 10 and under
- Male and Female
- Adult age 19-35
SUSUW has set a goal of $3000.00 for this virtual event, with all proceeds going to United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. With your help and the aid of our generous sponsors, we can achieve this goal and make a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the local community!
