Attention sponsors and employers:

The Ocean City Chamber of Commerce is hosting a welcome event for J-1 student exchange visitors. Please encourage your students to attend and learn about Ocean City and the surrounding area.

This event is one of the first social gatherings of the season and offers a valuable opportunity for students to meet fellow participants and connect with the local community. Attendees can open a bank account with local banks, learn about safety from the Ocean City Police Department, Beach Patrol, and Department of Transportation, and engage with representatives from Maryland’s Coast, the Health Department, Ocean City Public Library, local churches, and more.

Students will enjoy pizza and lemonade, receive free giveaways, and have the chance to win a free bicycle. The bicycle drawing will take place at 1:00 PM on June 17.
