Wine on the Beach Joins Forces with Sunfest Festival
Wine on the Beach, a perennial Ocean City favorite for more than 30 years, is joining forces with the beloved Sunfest Festival on October 23 & 24 for an even more fun-filled event in 2026!
“Wine on the Beach and Sunfest are both fall staples in Ocean City, and this collaboration is a natural evolution of both events,” commented Tom Perlozzo, Director of Tourism and Business Development.
“Bringing together two of Ocean City’s most beloved fall traditions allows us to create an even more dynamic and memorable experience for our visitors. By combining the flavors and coastal charm of Wine on the Beach with the vibrant music and energy of Sunfest, we’re enhancing what people already love, while introducing new opportunities to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the season.”
"This works so well for both of us," Wine on the Beach Manager, Chris Nokes added. "We were so delighted when the Sunfest organizers asked us to join them. It gives us additional resources and services for our guests and adds an element to Sunfest -- the opportunity to sample products from a wide variety of Maryland wines, and purchase bottles to enjoy, or cases to take home."
Wine on the Beach will have an adjoining entrance, where tickets will be sold to enter. Wristbands will be distributed so guests can move freely between Sunfest and Wine on the Beach to shop the crafters, enjoy a wide variety of food and watch Regional and National Acts on both the Beach and Midway stages.
"We will still be on the same beachfront," Nokes noted. "The stages, with their continuous music by regional and national touring acts, are adjacent to the Wine on the Beach grounds. There are many food options and vendors nearby as well."
The two-day wine festival will stay with its Friday-Saturday model, while Sunfest will run Thursday through Sunday, free of charge. Visit www.ococean.com/sunfest/ for more information.
"We are continuing to update the number of participating wineries on our website, www.winefest.com," Nokes added. "As always, we are delighted to see the growth in the number and variety of wines produced in our state. There is always something new to sample and enjoy."
Cost for a one-day ticket is $45.00 at the gate, if available. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $35.00 at www.winefest.com.
