Event Description:
Please join MCBP and the Assateague Island National Seashore for a film screening of Stories to Save Us: The Saltmarsh Sparrow. The film will begin at 1pm in the Visitor Center theater, followed up by a panel Q&A to discuss challenges in our salt marsh ecosystems, ongoing efforts to restore them, and the communities that live within them.
Following the panel, rangers from the National Seashore will host an optional marsh walk on Assateague Island that further interprets this dynamic ecosystem. For questions on the marsh walk, please email Park Guide, Nichole Leiby at nichole_leiby@nps.gov.
Theater seating is limited to 50 people, so please complete the RSVP form to secure your spot! Light food and refreshments will be available.
