The US Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer The Maryland Safe Boating Course Virtually on March 2, 3, & 4, from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM.  The 3 evening course will be taught by certified Coast Guard Aux. instructors with student participation. The course covers the basics of boat handling, legal requirements, and safety procedures in operating your boat.  All requirements of the Maryland Boating Safety Education Act will be met.   Participants will be awarded a certificate following successful completion of the course. 
Anyone born after July 1, 1972, must possess a Maryland Basic Boating Safety Certificate to operate a boat in the state of Maryland. 

The cost is $20.00 for materials.
